QUETTA – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa visitedHeadquarters Southern Command, Quetta on Friday.
According to a press release issued by the ISPR, COAS was apprised aboutprogress on projects being undertaken as part of Khushal BalochistanProgram. The COAS appreciated the efforts of Army and other Law EnforcementAgencies (LEAs) for maintaining law and order situation in the province tofacilitate completion of projects.

Later, COAS along with CM Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan inauguratednewly-established NUST Campus in Quetta which COAS had announced in 2017and completed in period of over two years.
In the first badge, 550 students will undergo BE in Civil Engineering andComputer Sciences. MS disciplines, including Water Resource EngineeringManagement, Tunneling/Mining Engineering and Computer & Allied Sciencesprograms. Later, the capacity will also be enhanced.
