NEW DELHI – Indiam Moon mission “Chandrayan 2” sent to the opposite side ofthe moon by the Indian Institute of Space Research (ISRO) has been lostfrom the ground station.
The mission is believed to have failed. The mission cost 978 crore Indianrupees, which equates to 2130 crore Pakistani rupees.
According to the details, the Chandrayan 2 mission continued to work wellthroughout its journey, but when its moon landing “Vikram” started todescend to the surface of the moon.
It was only 2100 meters above moon surface when lost the contact.Sincethen, Chandrayan 2 has been disconnected. It is estimated that theChandrayan 2 mission has failed.
