ISLAMABAD – Pakistan condoled the death of former president of ZimbabweRobert Mugabe.
According to the press release issued by Foreign Office (FO), thegovernment and people of Pakistan are deeply saddened on demise ofZimbabwe’s Mugabe, who played a distinguished role in the history of hiscountry and the African continent.
“Pakistan is offering sincere condolences to the bereaved family and to thepeople of Zimbabwe,” it also state.

It is pertinent to mention here that the former President played animportant role in strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan andZimbabwe. The Zimbabwe former president would be remembered for hispassionate advocacy for a rightful role for Africa and his legacy forZimbabwe.
