*ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army strongly responds over Indian allegations ofcross border infiltrations into the Occupied Kashmir for sabotage purposes.*
Pakistan Army on Saturday rebuffed India’s claims of terrorist infiltrationterming it one of New Delhi’s efforts to prepare grounds for a false flagoperation.
A statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said thatIndian media had fabricated facts regarding two local farmers whounintentionally crossed the Line of Control (LOC) on August 21 and declaredthem as members of a proscribed organisation.
“On August 27 the incident was discussed by military authorities duringweekly hotline contact,” the statement read adding that the Indianauthorities acknowledged and informed that routine legal formalities aretaking place and the farmers shall get back on that account.
According to military’s media wing, the incident was again discussed onSeptember 3 over the hotline regarding false media reporting and Indianauthorities assured that ‘due legal process’ was in place and outcome willsoon be shared with Pakistan.
However, despite repeated reminders of false and fabricated reporting byIndian media, the Indian Army portrayed the two individuals as terroristsin a press conference on September 4.
“The apprehended inadvertent crossers had also been forced to giveconfessional statement under duress of Indian Army that they were trainedin Pakistan and belonged to Rawalpindi,” said the ISPR statement.
It further said that both the individuals were local farmers and residentof Village Terraban (Hillan) along LOC and not Rawalpindi.[image: PHOTO: ISPR]
