What PM Imran Khan said about legendry Abdul Qadir over his sad demise?

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Prime Minister and former Pak skipper Imran Khan remembered late Abdul Qadir as the “life of the dressing room” on Saturday.

Khan expressed his sadness over the death of his former team-mate AbdulQadir after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 63 in Lahore on Fridaynight.

Calling him as “one of the greatest leg spinners of all time”, Khantweeted, “Deeply saddened to hear of Abdul Qadir’s passing.

My prayers and condolences go to the family. Abdul Qadir was a genius, oneof the greatest leg spinners of all time. And he was also the life of thedressing room entertaining the team with his wit and humour”.

In another post, Khan stated that Qadir’s bowling stats do not do justiceto the talent he possessed.

“Qadir’s bowling statistics do not do justice to his genius. Had he beenplaying cricket now with the modern DRS system, where batsmen can be givenout on the front foot as well, Qadir would have gotten as many wickets asthe great Shane Warne,” he said.

Earlier today, Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar also took toTwitter to express his grief over the demise of the former Pakistancricketer.
