*ISLAMABAD – Oladoc link*’, Pakistan’s #1 doctor bookingplatform secured the third spot at the Scaleups event organized by StartupIstanbul yesterday. *Startup Istanbullink* is a leading startup event, whereemerging entrepreneurs and investors from all around the world are inattendance.
There are two main categories of competition: one is for startups, whichare looking for initial investment while the other category, which is knownas “scaleups”, is for startups that have generated at least $1 million infunding or revenue.
Oladoc competed in the scaleups category and from hundreds of otherstartups was selected as one of the ten finalists. These ten startups areselected based on their ability to find and access a product-market fit fortheir product or services along with a pattern of consistent growth. Oladocwas the only Pakistani startup that made it to the top ten at this globalevent.
On the scale-up demo day, oladoc, like the rest of the finalists, got thechance to showcase its growth journey and future scaleup plans for theventure in front of an audience that was filled with enthusiastic investorsfrom around the world.
