Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Azhar Ali as captain of nationalcricket team for international Test matches in 2019-20 season.
Babar Azam has been named captain of T-20 international until next year’sICC T20 World Cup to be played in Australia in 2020.

According to the PCB’s press release, the appointments were confirmed afterSarfaraz Ahmed was left out of both formats due to the drop in his overallform during the past few series.
