LAHORE – Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said the governmenthas started a dialogue process with the Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI-F) in thelarger national interest.
Talking to the media at an anti-dengue awareness walk in Lahore, herejected the presumption that the dialogue process started under duress.
He said JUI-F chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman is also ready for the dialogueto resolve any differences with the government.
He said protests and sit-ins at this time could cause damage to Kashmirissue and national interests, therefore, the opposition should understandthat the country could not afford any damage to Kashmir cause.
