ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan grills federal minister FawadChaudhry over statement of 400 government departments closure.PrimeMinister (PM) Imran Khan on Wednesday took notice of the statement of FawadCh’s pertaining to the closure of 400 state-run departments.
As per details garnered, PM Khan instructed Minister for Science andTechnology to refrain from issuing such statement that spreaddisappointment among masses.
“We must not issue statements that spread disappointment. I came to knowabout your statement during Saudi Arabia’s visit”, stated PM. To this, theoutspoken minister replied that some media outlets have distorted hisstatement and it was quoted out of context.
On Oct 15, Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry onTuesday informed attendants that govt was planning to shut down 400state-run organizations.As per details garnered, the minister was addressing second DeansInternational Conference of Engineering Institutions in Islamabad.
