ISLMABAD – Islamabad High Court announced verdict in petitions against JUI- F Chief Fazalur Rahman.The Islamabad High Court on Wednesday dismissedall petitions against the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl’s (JUI-F)anti-government ‘Azadi March’ and remarked that no court in the world canabolish the right of demonstration, GNN reported.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Athar Minullah remarked that no court canabolish right of demonstration over which, the claimant said that there isa right to protest against policy but not democratic government.
The court instructed the local administration to protect the rights of theprotesters as well those of those who weren’t protesting.
The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah also instructed the Islamabadadministration to look into the matter as per the law.
Justice Minallah recalled that in 2014, the same court had allowed thePakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) to protest.
