Accountability Court announced verdict in Khawaja brothers acquittal petition

LAHORE – Accountability Court announced verdict in Khawaja brothersacquittal petition, media report has revealed.

An accountability court in Lahore on Wednesday rejected Khawaja brothers’acquittal pleas and extended their judicial remand till October 30 inParagon Housing case.

The court announced the verdict on Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leaderKhawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman Rafique’s petitionswhich was reserved on Monday.

The court rejected the acquittal pleas and judicial authority and extendedjudicial remand till October 30. The accountability court summonedwitnesses for testimony against Khawaja brothers in the next hearing.

The decision was announced in the presence of Khawaja Saad Rafique andKhawaja Salman Rafique.

In the previous hearing, the court reserved verdict on acquittal pleas ofKhawaja brothers in Paragon Housing Society reference.
