British Royal Couple arrives in Chitral, presented with the traditional gift by locals

ISLAMABAD – Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William andKate Middleton started off their third day in Pakistan by visiting Chitral.

William and Kate were given a book commemorating Princess Diana’s 1991visit.

The residents also gifted an embroidered coat to Prince William and a shawlto Kate. The royal couple will meet local people and visit schools in thearea.

On Tuesday, the royal highnesses were given a reception at the PakistanNational Monument in Islamabad hosted by the British High Commissioner toPakistan Thomas Drew. William and Kate arrived at the venue in style in arickshaw decked out in traditional truck art.
