India unveils date for Kartarpur Corridor opening, PM Modi to inaugurate cross border route

*NEW DELHI – I*ndia unveils date for Kartarpur Corridor opening and PMNarendra Modi to inaugurate cross border route for Sikh Pilgrims.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 4.5-km-long KartarpurCorridor, linking the Darbar Sahib Gurdwara in Dera Baba Nanak to theKartarpur Sahib shrine in Pakistan, on November 8.

This was announced by Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Saturday, whosaid, ”On 8th November, Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji will be coming toDera Baba Nanak and he will inaugurate the Kartarpur Corridor.”Twitter Adsinfo and privacy linkSpeaking to media further, Badal said, ”After the inauguration, the PMwill pay his obeisance at Sultanpur Lodhi. Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh had earlier met PM Narendra Modiin Delhi and invited him for the Kartarpur Corridor opening. Both PresidentRam Nath Kovind and PM Modi had accepted Punjab CM’s invite to attend 550thPrakash Parv celebrations of Guru Nanak Dev Ji in November.
