ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry onSaturday said that the policy regarding Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s Azadi Marchis clear and the government will not allow madrassa’s children to be usedas fodder.
In a message on social networking website Twitter, the federal ministersaid, “Protest is a political right and policy regarding Maulana Fazal UrRehman’s protest is clear. There is no objection to the protest if it iscarried out in compliance with the Supreme Court’s verdicts and the Law.”
Fawad Chaudhry further stated, “The government will also hold talks withMaulana Fazlur Rehman […] we will not let the students of madrasahs to beused as fodder.”
