PESHAWAR: A Strong earthquake jolts parts of Pakistan on Wednesday, privatemedia has reported.

As per media report, 5.2 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of KhyberPaktunkhwa on Wednesday.

The quake struck at the depth of 180 kilometers with its epicenter lying inHindu Kush region in Afghanistan.

Peshawar, Chitral Swat and other areas of the province were affected by thetremors.

The latest tremors came days after a series of earthquakes jolted thenorthern areas of the country.
