ISLAMABAD – Srilankan top all-rounder breaks silence over reasons for notvisiting Pakistan, its not security concern.
Thisara Perera has finally revealed the reasons about deciding againsttouring Pakistan for the ongoing limited-overs series.
Perera’s name was among the ten cricketers mentioned in the list releasedby Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), who backed out of the tour citing securityconcerns.
While replying to a fan’s criticism of preferring Caribbean Premier League(CPL) over national duty, the all-rounder clarified his stance over thematter.
“When I was in the Caribbean I got dengue mate. There was no way I couldsupport anyone in any way. Still rested on Doctors advice. People speakwithout knowing anything,” tweeted Perera.
