On Special instructions of PM Khan, PTI government launches yet another initiative for overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD – On Special instructions of PM Imran Khan, PTI governmentlaunches yet another initiative for overseas Pakistanis.

On Interior Ministry directions, Islamabad Capital Territory PoliceIslamabad has set up special desk for overseas Pakistanis in the federalcapital to offer them a one-stop solution for their problems includingvehicle verification, provision of driving licenses and a copy of the FirstInformation Report (FIR) lodged in any police station.

“Four more citizen facilitation centers will be established in the capitalcity to ensure speedy resolution of public issues through one window,”announced Federal Minister for Interior, Ijaz Ahmad Shah, on Tuesday, whileinaugurating the special counter for overseas Pakistanis in thefacilitation center.

He added that the materialization of such initiatives depicts that thestate is moving in the right direction. To a query, he said that the ICTpolice is recruiting more traffic personnel in Islamabad Traffic Police toensure a smooth flow of traffic on the capital’s roads.

He said that the government is placing reforms in seminaries to create massawareness and introducing the syllabus that would help the youth to becomea constructive part of society.
