Financial Action Task Force report against JuD Chief Hafiz Saeed?

ISLAMABAD – Financial Action Task Force report against JuD Chief HafizSaeed has been reportedly unveiled by Indian MEDIA.

Financial Action Task Force (FATF)reported to be quoted that Pakistan hasfailed to take action to fully implement UNSCR 1267 obligations againstJamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Saeed and others.

FATF said that Pakistan must “identify, assess and understand its moneylaundering, terror financing risks, including transnational risks and risksassociated with terrorist groups” operating from its soil.

Pakistan has not taken sufficient measures to fully implement UNSCR 1267obligations against all listed individuals and entities – especially thoseassociated with Lashkar-e-Tayyiba (LeT)/Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), andFalah-i-Insaniat Foundation (FIF) as well as the groups’ leader HafizSaeed,” the report says.
