ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Beijing on a three dayofficial visit to China.
Chinese Cultural Minister Luo Shugang received him at the Airport.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing and Pakistan envoy’s to ChinaNaghmana Hashmi were also present.
Foreign Minster Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Planning Minister Khusro Bakhtiar andChairman Board of Investment Zubair Gilani are also accompanied PrimeMinister during the visit.
The Prime Minister will meet the Chinese leadership and exchange views onregional developments including the state of peace and security in SouthAsia arising from the situation in occupied Jammu & Kashmir since 5 August2019.
The visit will be instrumental in further cementing Pakistan’s economic,investment and strategic ties with China.
The Prime Minister will apprise the Chinese leadership of the government’srecent landmark decisions to speed-up implementation of ongoing CPECprojects as well as efforts to project CPEC as a High-Quality DemonstrationProject of BRI.
There will be interaction with senior representatives of the Chinesebusiness and corporate sector for deepening bilateral trade, commercial andinvestment partnership.
