KARACHI – Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), wasted food worth overRs10 crores in three years.

As per details, PIA also paid overflying bill of $65000 for Turkamanistanto a fabricator falsely. The money was transferred to the account of manwho fabricated a story nicely.

On the other hand the kitchen audit of the national flag carrier hasrevealed that Rs106500000 food was wasted in three years.

The report said 5558284 passengers travelled from airline from 2013 to 2015and food was arranged for 6072839 passengers. An additional food for over5lac persons cost PIA over 7 crore. Food wasted at Lahore Airport alsoworth over 4 crores.

The report held PIA administration responsible for this loss. PIA wasinformed about these mishaps in 2016 and in November 2018 but no one paidheed to these losses of worth millions.
