PM Khan s close aide Awn Chaudhry rejects offer of top government post

LAHORE – Awn Chaudhry on Sunday refused to accept the post of chairman ofthe Censor Board Punjab.

Chaudhry, who is also considered PM Imran Khan’s close aide, was recentlyremoved as the adviser to the Punjab Chief Minister, said on Twitter thathe will keep working as a political worker for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.

In a tweet, the PTI leader said: “I have humbly excused myself fromaccepting the post of Chairman CensorBoard Punjab so the rumors in thisregard are untrue. I will keep working as a political worker for my partyInshaAllah”.
