What advice COAS General Bajwa give to the Pakistani businessmen community?

ISLAMABAD – Senior analyst Imran Yaqub Khan has revealed that the Chief ofArmy Staff (COAS) Qamar Javed Bajwa, told the business leaders that theywill have to make a habit of paying tax, because the country’s image isbecoming better and investment is coming in.

Talking in GNN’S show “Viewpoint”, the senior journalist said that the COAStook the business community in confidence and told them that the worldwould not listen to us in the past. Now our point of view is beingattention to, which has made our international image better and has led toforeign investment coming into the country. Now the business community willhave to make a habit out of paying tax.

Continuing to give further inside details of the meeting, Imran Yaqub Khansaid that the COAS assured the businessmen that their reservations aboutNAB will be removed. The COAS also told the political team present in theroom, to talk to the Prime Minister that NAB should not bother the businesscommunity without reason. During the five hour meeting, the COAS addressedthe issues raised by the traders and tried to satisfy them.

Senior analyst Zafar Hilaly said that $200 billion of Pakistan’s wealth islying in foreign banks, out of which not even one billion has come back toPakistan. He said that Imran Khan believes that scaring people anddocumentation will for e people to give up the money themselves.

He advised the government to not give any amnesty, but ask these people toinvest in Pakistan with proof. He also advised the government to set upchemical and petroleum factories in which the government will hold 49%shares with 51% shares given to private investors.
