ISLAMABAD –Pakistan strongly protests with India against the ceasefireviolations at Line of Control resulting into casualties at Pakistani side,media has revealed.
Indian Deputy High Commissioner (HC) Gaurav Ahluwalia was summoned toForeign Office on Wednesday and a strong protest was lodged over continuousunprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian occupation forces along theLine of Control (LoC).
In a statement, South Asia and SAARC Director General Dr Mohammad Faisalsaid an elderly lady embraced martyrdom while three other civilianssustained serious injuries in the Indian Army’s indiscriminate andunprovoked firing in Nezapir and Bagsar sectors of LoC.
The FO spokesperson said Indian occupation forces along the LoC and Workingboundary have continuously been targeting civilian populated areas withartillery fire, heavy-caliber mortars, and automatic weapons, which stillcontinues.
