ISLAMABAD – Dr Maliha Lodhi, the permanent Ambassador of Pakistan in theUN, says she has herself decided to leave the post after the GeneralAssembly meeting.
As a result, Prime Minister Imran Khan made extensive changes at the topdiplomatic level.
He has appointed Munir Akram as the permanent representative of Pakistan at the United Nations, replacing Dr Maliha Lodhi. In her statement issued onTwitter after the Prime Minister’s decision, Maliha Lodhi said that it wasa great honor for her to serve his country and She is grateful that She wasgiven the opportunity to serve for four years.

Maliha Lodhi has been removed from the post and Ambassador Munir Akram hadreplaced her.
