ISLAMABAD – Federal government takes action to resolve dispute regardingmoon sighting on eve of Eidain.
Ministry of Religious Affairs has constituted a committee to resolve thedispute regarding sighting of moon on the eve of Eidain.
This was decided during the meeting held in Islamabad today regarding usingmodern technology on sighting of moon.
The meeting was presided over by Religious Affairs Minister Dr Noor-ul-HaqQadri.

According to the Ministry, the Committee will be headed by ReligiousMinister Dr Noor-ul-Haq Qadri while Chairman Council of Islamic Ideology DrQibla Ayaz, Qari Hanif Jalandhari, Mufti Shahab Popalzai and SecretaryReligious Affairs will be its members.
The meeting also discussed reorganizing of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, use ofQamari Calendar prepared by Ministry of Science and Technology and otherproblems being faced in this regard.
