LAHORE – New developments have been reported from the Lahore High Court onTuesday regarding bail plea of PML N leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif.LHC issuednotices to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over PML-N vicepresident Maryam Nawaz’s plea for interim bail in the Chaudhry Sugar Millscase.
A two-member bench, headed by Justice Ali Baqar Najafi, heard the plea.Justice Sardar Raza is part of the bench too.
The petition stated that Maryam Nawaz is being subjected to politicalrevenge and that the anti-corruption watch dog has not found singleevidence against her.
The petition also requested the court to release her from the jail.
The court then issued notices to NAB on Maryam’s bail plea and orderedsought record from the bureau on October 14.
