ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has categorically rejected baseless allegations ofIndian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar regarding terrorism.
In an interview with a French newspaper, the Indian External Minister saidthat Islamabad should hand over the Indian wanted for terrorist activitiesit is serious about better ties with New Delhi.
The Foreign Office Spokesperson in response of this interview said thatsenior Indian officials continue to manufacture “facts” both with regard tothe issue of terrorism and the situation in held Kashmir.
He said this outburst is also yet another attempt of New Delhi to divertglobal attention from the gory reality in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
The Spokesperson said, if anything, Commander Kulbhushan Jadhav is the faceof India’s “export” of terrorism to Pakistan.
He said India also continues to be the safe haven for those preaching hateand carrying out hate crimes, including against its own minorities, withimpunity and indeed under state patronage.
He said as regards the Minister’s farcical claim that the “situation isback to normal” in Indian Occupied Kashmir, the question is why this’normalcy’ is not visible to the outside world?
Foreign Office said for India, there is no escape from the reality that itsState-sponsored repression cannot break the will and indomitable spirit ofthe Kashmiri people.
He said India would be well-advised to move away from its obsession withPakistan and also from its continued denial of reality.
