RAWALPINDI – Sheikh Rashid Ahmed makes important statement over deal withNawaz Sharif and plea bargain with Asif Zardari, Media Report has revealed.
Refuting the rumours on the social media, Minister for Railways SheikhRasheed said on Sunday that neither deal was struck nor the relief wasgiven to the Sharif family.
Speaking to the journalists after inauguration of Safari tourism train, theminister termed that no deal was made between the government and thePakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N). He mentioned that the LHC’s ruling informer premier Nawaz Sharif’s plea for removal of his name from the ECLwithout any conditionality is a win for the Law.
Sheikh Rasheed said that respect of both the government and Nawaz Sharifwas saved by the court. “Besides PPP stalwart Khursheed Shah, OppositionLeader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz and former president Asif Zardari,five other people are on plea bargain,” he claimed.
The minister also predicted that the economy condition of country willimprove till January 15.
Sheikh Rasheed inaugurated steam Safari special train in Rawalpindi. Hesaid it will help promote tourism in the country. In first phase the SafariTrain will operate from Rawalpindi to Golra.
Tourists from United Kingdom, Japan, United States of America, Italy andGermany are travelling in the train.
