Indian government gets yet another snub from the ally United States: Report

ISLAMABAD – The US lawmakers during a Congressional hearing on human rightshave once again expressed concerns about the grim situation in OccupiedKashmir.

Indian-American Congresswoman, Pramila Jayapal said that she is deeplyconcerned by Indian government’s actions in Kashmir.

Democrats Sheila Jackson Lee, David Trone and David Cicilline, alsocriticised India’s actions after scrapping Kashmir’s special status.

Arunima Bhargava, commissioner from the US Commission on InternationalReligious Freedom, said that the rights of Muslim communities are beingcurtailed because of Indian government’s actions.
