ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and Hungry decide to extend cooperation to strengtheneconomic ties, Media Report has claimed.
Prime Minister’s Adviser on Commerce, Textile, Industries and Productionand Investment, Abdul Razak Dawood toady said the government will extendfull cooperation and support to strengthen trade and economic ties betweenPakistan and Hungary.
The Adviser said that agriculture plays a pivotal role in the life ofPakistan’s economy as it accounts for around 20% of GDP.
In a press release issued by Ministry of Commerce in Islamabad today thatthe Hungarian Ambassador H.E. István Szabó called on the Adviser onCommerce, Textile, Industries and Production and Investment, Abdul RazakDawood.
He said that agriculture not only furnishes food and raw material but alsoemployment opportunities to a very large proportion of population as well.
He said that both sides agreed to boost bilateral trade and investmentthrough proactive approach and improved engagement.
Ambassador further said that Hungary has already invested in Oil and Gassector of Pakistan and its company MOL is operating with local partners.
