KARACHI: Pakistan’s top Badminton player Mahnoor Shahzad wins InternationalBadminton Tournament.
Pakistan’s top-ranked badminton player Mahoor Shahzad has added anothertitle to her collection after winning the Pakistan Series InternationalBadminton Tournament in Islamabad.
Mahoor, the highest-ranked Pakistani in international badminton ranking,was up against top seeded Iranian Soraya Aghaeihajiagha at Rodham Hall ofPakistan Sports Board sports complex in the federal capital.
Both players showed their skills in the final of the ladies’ singles event,battling hard over the clash’s three games.

Mahoor bagged the first game by 21-15, however, Soraya made a comeback withscore of 21-16 in second game and leveled the final.
The local talent showed her class in the final game to complete the victorywith scores of 21-15, 16-21 and 21-16.
