ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan gives important orders over borderareas of KP and Balochistan.
Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed government’s commitment toeffectively check the menace of smuggling for development of the economy.
He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad today that was focused onestablishment of trade markets in border areas.
The Prime Minister said the scourge of smuggling not only destroys thenational economy but also affects country’s resources and income, besidescausing havoc to the industry.
Imran Khan said the government is determined to control smuggling but it isalso cognizant of the economic difficulties faced by people and youth ofthe border areas.

He appreciated the proposal of establishment of trade markets for providingthe people of border areas an alternative livelihood.
He expressed hope that these markets would accelerate economic activitiesand provide business opportunities to youth.
The Prime Minister directed to finalize the proposal for establishing trademarkets in border areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan sooner.
