ISLAMABAD – Federal government takes most important decision regardingformer PM Nawaz Sharif name removal from the Exit Control List.
The federal government has on Friday decided to remove former primeminister Nawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL), sourcesprivy to Dunya News reported.
Further details suggest that the interior ministry will write a letter tothe federal cabinet and the erstwhile premier’s name will be removed fromthe ECL after approval.
Nawaz Sharif is likely to leave for London for treatment in the comingweek. Earlier today, the interior ministry had received an applicationseeking removal of Nawaz Sharif’s name from the ECL.
The plea was submitted by the Sharif family for Nawaz Sharif’s treatmentabroad. The Sharif family had tasked Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)President Shehbaz Sharif to submit the application.
The doctors at the Sharif Medical City Hospital also recommended shiftingthe erstwhile premier abroad for treatment.
On the other hand, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz said her father, NawazSharif, must go anywhere around the world where his treatment is possible.
