ISLAMABAD – Maryam Nawaz breaks silence over Nawaz Sharif leaving forabroad for medical treatment .
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif submittedon Friday an application to the Ministry of Interior seeking the removal ofNawaz Sharif’s name from the Exit Control List (ECL).
If the plea is accepted, Nawaz might leave for London next week, localmedia reported. Earlier, PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz said that heruncle has been managing the matter of removal of Nawaz’s from the ECL.
She said Sharif’s health is critical and he should be taken anywhere aroundthe world where his treatment is possible. However, MAryam said she willnot be able to travel as her passport is with the court. “If he goes abroadfor treatment and I do not go with him, it will be difficult,” she said.

On Wednesday, Maryam was released on bail after her surety bonds andpassport were submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC). She was grantedbail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case by the LHC on Monday.
