LAHORE – Former cricketer and acquaintance of Prime Minister Imran Khan,Navjot Singh Sidhu breaks silence over attending the Kartarpur corridoropening ceremony. Sidhu has confirmed his attendance at inaugural ceremonyof Kartarpur Corridor. Reportedly, Sidhu contacted Senator Faisal Javed andconfirmed his participation at inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor onNovember 9.
“I am thankful to government of Pakistan and especially Prime MinisterImran Khan for inviting me. I am really looking forward to the event,”Sidhu said.
Senator Faisal Javed said, “We are ready to welcome and host Navjot Sidhuand other fellows of Sikh community from around the world.”
Navjot Singh Sidhu was awaiting permission from India’s External Ministryto visit Pakistan.
