ISLAMABAD – Pakistani batsman Iftikhar Ahmed sets a new historic battingrecord in Australia, Media Report has revealed.
Iftikhar Ahmed scored the highest Twenty20 International (T20I) scorebatting at number six in Australia, during the second match of thethree-match series between the hosts and Pakistan on Tuesday in Canberra.
The record was previously held by Australia skipper Aaron Finch who scoredan unbeaten 53-run knock from 33 balls, batting at number six againstEngland at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) in 2011.
Iftikhar’s 34-ball 62 not out, which included five fours and three sixes,helped Pakistan in mustering a competitive total of 150-6.
