ISLAMABAD – Pakistan and China decide to include multiple new Motorwaysprojects in the multi billions dollars CPEC project.
The 9th meeting of Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC) of Pakistan and Chinahas approved new road infrastructure projects of the Ministry ofCommunications under the CPEC.
Its meeting held in Islamabad has made the western route of the CPEC areality.
The Joint Cooperation Committee approved Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob section ofthe western route.

Swat Expressway, Kohat-D.I. Khan motorway and Chitral-Gilgit Baltistan roadhave also been made part of the corridor project.
The meeting also approved Nokandi-Maskail-Turbat andMirpur-Muzaffarabad-Mansehra road projects.
