LAHORE: Singer Rabi Pirzada faces yet another tragedy over leaked photoscase.
Singer Rabi Pirzada request to the Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA)cyber-crime wing that her private pictures and videos be immediatelyremoved from social media was turned back.
However, the agency said removing her private pictures and videos, as wellas the links to them, from the Internet was the Pakistan TelecommunicationAuthority’s (PTA) job.
In her petition to the FIA, Pirzada said she had returned her phone — whichwas carrying her private pictures and videos that later went viral — to thecompany. She appealed that her images and videos be removed from socialmedia immediately and links to that media taken down.
The FIA, nonetheless, said that was not their job but the PTA’s, and, therefore, they had forwarded the singer’s petition to thetelecommunication regulator.
