Pakistan makes big investment offers to Malaysia

ISLAMABAD – Pakistan makes big investment offers to Malaysia. ForeignMinister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Monday invited the Malaysian investors toavail the investment opportunities in Pakistan.

Foreign minister said that Pakistan’s economy is now heading towardsstability as a result of difficult decisions taken by PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.

He said due to sustainable economic policies, the confidence of the foreigninvestors has been restored in Pakistan and it is the first time in thelast three years that the volume of investment has reached $340 million.

Qureshi said the government is undertaking sincere efforts to ensure easeof doing business and this is the reason that the World Bank has declaredPakistan among the top ten improvers in the ease of doing business.

He invited the Malaysian investors to benefit from investing in IT, energy,Halal food, oil and gas and construction of inexpensive houses in Pakistan.

Qureshi is currently in Malaysia on a two-day official visit to attend theKuala Lumpur Summit. He was invited by his Malaysian counterpart SaifuddinAbdullah.
