ISLAMABAD – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has planned to construct twodams in Khyber district to promote agriculture and generate employmentopportunities for tribal youth.
Nine hundred and thirty million rupees have been set aside for this purpose.
On completion of these dams, it will help conserve water for irrigation anddrinking purposes besides bringing the vast barren land under cultivation.

Similarly, two hundred million rupees will also be spent on extension andremodeling of Bara River canal system in Khyber district during currentfiscal year.
