ISLAMABAD – Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has called for moreintegrated ASEAN market.
Speaking at ASEAN Business and Investment Summit in Thailand’s capitalBangkok, Mahathir said ASEAN must leverage on its large population base asa more integrated market to achieve greater economic growth.
Mahathir said China achieved a significant growth during the past fourdecades as the country made full use of its large population as a hugemarket.
