Former Indian Army Chief hints at war against Pakistan?

Pakistani Kashmir is a part of India and New Delhi will get control overit, Union Minister General VK Singh (retired) said in Delhi on Wednesday.Former Army Chief hinted at by military force occupation of the AzadKashmir.

Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways also dubbed the criticismof the government by the opposition over the EU delegation’s visit toKashmir as insignificant.

“What is the need to capture it. PoK is ours. We will get hold on it…,”Mr Singh replied to a query on the sidelines of an event by industry bodyAssocham.

Mr Singh’s remarks comes a week after Union Minister Jitendra Singh saiddays are not far off when it will be possible to unfurl the tricolour inPoK.

On Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat’s recent remarks that Pakistan-OccupiedKashmir is a “terrorist-controlled” part of the neighbouring country, hesaid the same has been said in Parliament too.

Gen Bipin Rawat on Friday had described Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir as a”terrorist-controlled” part of the neighbouring country and sought to linkit with Islamabad”s strident criticism of India’s decision to scrap Jammuand Kashmir’s special status.

On the Opposition’s criticism of the government over the EU delegationvisiting Kashmir, Mr Singh said; “Apart from opposing, the Oppositiondoesn’t do anything. They can speak on anything. Let them pass remarks.”
