ISLAMABAD – The federal government has devised its final strategy totackle Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-F’s (JUI-F) “Azadi March” and decided that useof force will be the last option if the protest spread anarchy.
According to the details garnered, the federal government decided to takestrict action against marchers if they will try to enter Islamabad’s RedZone. It was also reported that Prime Minister Imran Khan has givencomplete authority to the government’s negotiation committee, headed byDefence Minister Pervez Khattak.
Furthermore, the PTI-led government has decided to hold talks with theprotesters if they stage a sit-in in Islamabad and they will use of forceas last option.
All private schools will remain close in Islamabad on Thursday (tomorrow)citing uncertain security, law and order situation when the oppositionparties’ Azadi March will enter the federal capital.
Private Schools Association’s president stated that the decision to reopenthe schools will be taken in light of the developing situation. Thesecretary of the association said that the decision has been taken for thesafety of schoolchildren.
