PM Imran Khan wrote letter to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote a letter to Turkish PresidentRecep Tayyip Erdogan congratulating his country on the 96th Republic Day.

PM Imran expressed that the Turkish people had shown courage in front ofthe colonial powers and its subsequent march on the path to development andprosperity. “The valiant stance of Turkish people inspired million aroundthe globe”, he added.

The Prime Minister further said it is a matter of great pride for Pakistanthat during this period, their forefathers stood beside the Turkishbrethren who have helped in nurturing a deep-rooted friendship based onhistory, faith and culture. “Pakistan has historical ties with Turkey andconsiders Turkey a close friend and brother”, he expressed.

Prime Minister Imran Khan asserted that Pakistan looks forward to furtherdeepen its historic bond with Turkey for the mutual benefit of the twopeople and for peace and prosperity for our respective region.
