Deal or No Deal: NAB did not oppose former PM Nawaz Sharif bail plea in LHC

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Friday announcedthat it had chosen not to challenge former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’sbail in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, on humanitarian grounds.

The statement was issued to clarify what NAB said “news items reported by asection of media” following the Lahore High Court’s decision to grant NawazSharif bail in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

The plea was filed by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) PresidentShehbaz Sharif.
