Federal Minister Murad Saeed makes history with Rs 100 billion revenue for NHA

ISLAMABAD – Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has announced toincrease the revenue of National Highway Authority to one hundred billionrupees in five years.

Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad on Friday, he said 35 billion rupeestarget was set for the current year but we have doubled it. He said tenbillion rupees were recovered in the last year as NHA has initiatedself-accountability.

The Minister said NHA has been depoliticized and no transfers or postingsare being made on favoritism.

He said the road infrastructure will be developed from the resources ofNHA. He said 1275 kilometer western route of China Pakistan EconomicCorridor was inaugurated by Prime Minister Imran Khan and the presentgovernment is making it a reality.

He said PTI government believes in the establishment of welfare state.

Murad Saeed said the Prime Minister has launched Ehsaas program, KamyabJawan program, Sehat Insaf Card, shelter homes and Langar Khana programwhich are aimed to make Pakistan a welfare state.

Speaking on the occasion Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Medialftikhar Durrani said people expressed their confidence in Pakistan Tehreeke Insaf in 2018 general elections.

He said eradicating the menace of corruption from the country is themanifesto of PTI.
