Former PM Nawaz Sharif may leave Pakistan for medical treatment abroad: Report

LAHORE – Former PM Nawaz Sharif may leave Pakistan for medical treatmentabroad: Report.

The health condition of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif deterioratedagain after his platelet count dropped to 6000.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarrar confirmed thatthe party has contacted medical experts for party supremo’s treatmentabroad.

PML-N Deputy Secretary General Ataullah Tarrar while giving statementregarding Sharif’s health said that the whole nation is worried about theformer PM, adding that his platelet count fell dangerously low to 6000.

He said that after Sharif was diagnosed with acute immune thrombocytopenicpurpura (ITP), an immune disorder that leads to an abrupt and sharp drop inblood platelets, intravenous treatment has commenced.

He confirmed that Sharif’s medical reports, health condition and detailshave been sent abroad to medical experts.

Meanwhile, Sharif family and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif have appealedthe nation for prayers for Nawaz health.
