The runway of Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, has beentemporarily shut down.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), because of some necessaryrenovation work, the primary runway of the Allama Iqbal InternationalAirport will remain closed today.
The primary runway will remain closed from 1100 hrs to 1700 hrs and will bereopened before the fog level increases in the evening.

Routine flight operations will not be hampered by the closure of therunaway as a secondary runway is being used for the time being, said theCAA.
