Indian Military lockdown of Occupied Kashmir enters consecutive 141st day

SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, normal life remains crippled in the KashmirValley and Muslim majority areas of Jammu region due to continued militarylockdown and siege on the 141st consecutive day, today.

People continue to suffer due to restrictions imposed under Section 144 andcontinued suspension of prepaid mobile phone, text messaging and internetservices in the territory.

Representatives of several social and political organizations met under thechair of Chairman of Jammu Kashmir People’s Movement, Mir Shahid Saleemhave strongly condemned the anti-Muslim Citizenship Act and described it asa part of larger conspiracy to target the Muslim community in India.

Meanwhile, two Indian police personnel were injured in an attack inKishtwar town.
