ISLAMABAD – New York Times gives another embarrassing blow to India overOccupied Kashmir lockdown.
Prominent International Daily the New York Times says India is usingtactics of authoritarian regimes to suppress freedom of expression.
In an article, the paper notes that India which claims to be the world’slargest democracy has shut down internet services for over sixty millionpeople in Occupied Kashmir.
In states of Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura same procedure is followed tosuppress any resistance to its controversial legislations regarding thesestates including the revocation of Kashmir’s special status and acitizenship law.
